Multi-File Open
The best command is usually:

That opens one Neovim session with multiple files.
In Neovim, those files become:

The "${drafts[@]}" syntax expands each array element as a separate argument — preserving spaces and special characters in filenames.

Glob Patterns
Open every .adoc draft:

The shell expands .drafts/*.adoc into every matching file before nvim sees it. Be careful — this may open more files than intended.
Selective glob — only ASA VPN Entra drafts:
nvim .drafts/asa-vpn-entra-summary-v*.adoc
Matches v1, v2, v3, v4 — useful when filenames follow a consistent naming pattern.
find + xargs
Use find when files are not all in one simple glob.
Command substitution (simple case):
nvim $(find .drafts -name '*.adoc' -type f -print)
| This works if filenames do not contain spaces or special characters. |
Safer version with null-delimited pipeline:
find .drafts -name '*.adoc' -type f -print0 |
xargs -0 nvim
The -print0 / -0 pair protects against spaces, newlines, and unusual characters in filenames.
Single unique file with -quit:
nvim "$(find .drafts -name 'domus-apparmor-firefox-block-check.adoc' -type f -print -quit)"
The -quit stops after the first match — avoids walking the entire directory tree.
fzf Interactive Selection
Select one file interactively:

Unsafe — word splitting breaks filenames with spaces:

Use visual range when editing notes that contain many different code blocks — whole-file :%s would touch unrelated blocks.

Root Cause
api.medigate.io uses Amazon ECDSA 256 M01 — a public CA already in the system store.[1] The --cacert flag was unnecessary from the start. The environment file carried a CLAROTY_CA_CERT variable that pointed to a non-existent cert path.
Secondary Issue — Copy-Paste Parse Errors
The prerequisites documentation used multi-line \ continuations with AsciiDoc callout markers (<1>, <2>). Copying from rendered HTML introduced invisible characters after \, causing zsh: parse error near '|'. Fixed by adding pasteable single-line commands above annotated [%collapsible] breakdowns — matching the STD-008 monad pattern.

Trade-off: grep -r --include is faster for known file types. find | xargs grep is safer for paths with spaces and more extensible (add -name '*.md' etc.). For literary searches across the bibliotheca, #4 or #5 is usually the right starting point — the source texts are .txt, not .adoc.
