Context: Don Quijote study for DELE C1 and literary appreciation

The Pattern: For each chapter: (1) Read in original early modern Spanish, (2) Note vocabulary that differs from modern usage, (3) Identify the narrative technique Cervantes uses, (4) Connect themes to the arc of the whole work. One chapter per session. Depth over speed.

Principle: Literary mastery, like technical mastery, comes from deliberate practice with focused attention. Speed-reading Cervantes defeats the purpose. The struggle with archaic vocabulary IS the learning.
