Prioritization Patterns

Prioritization and triage patterns from real project management. Every entry has a date and context.

2026-04: P0/P1/P2 Triage During Deployment

Situation: P16g deployment surfaced 14 scope-creep items. Without triage, everything feels urgent.

Context: P16g field notes, items discovered during deployment

The Pattern: Immediately triage into P0 (blocks deployment), P1 (needed soon), P2 (nice to have). P0 items get done now. P1 goes to backlog with a date. P2 goes to backlog without a date. This prevents scope creep from derailing the main objective.

Principle: Triage is the most important skill during any deployment. Not everything discovered needs to be fixed now. Document it, prioritize it, move on.
