Before Exam

  • Complete all 22 phases with validation checklists passing

  • Full practice exam under 3-hour time constraint (Ch 21)

  • Review all entries in appendix-issues — these are your weak spots

  • Speed drill: SELinux troubleshooting in under 10 minutes

  • Speed drill: LVM create + extend + filesystem resize in under 15 minutes

  • Speed drill: nmcli static IP config from memory in under 5 minutes

  • Schedule exam at Red Hat testing center (nearest: check rhtapps.redhat.com/verify/)

  • Exam scheduling window: May 2026 (before June 1 deadline)

After Certification

Immediate (Week 1)

  • Update partials/trackers/education/rhcsa.adoc status to DONE

  • Update partials/trackers/education/certifications-deadlines.adoc — remove from URGENT

  • Write case study: CR-2026-MM-DD-rhcsa-certification.adoc

  • Add RHCSA to reference/dossier-evanusmodestus.adoc

Short-Term (Month 1)

  • Begin LPIC-1 study — complements RHCSA with Debian/Ubuntu coverage

  • Apply RHEL patterns to domus infrastructure:

    • Deploy Rocky 9 on kvm-01 for production services

    • Migrate applicable Arch patterns to RHEL equivalents

    • Document differences in domus-linux-ops

  • Review domus-infra-ops runbooks for RHEL-applicable updates

Medium-Term (Quarter)

  • Evaluate RHCE (EX294) — Ansible automation, natural next step

  • Cross-reference RHCSA knowledge with CISSP Domain 7 (Security Operations)

  • Build RHCSA quick-reference card for domus codex (codex/linux/rhel.adoc)

Improvement Proposals

  • Convert exam gotchas (appendix-issues) into a reMarkable workbook for offline review

  • Create RHCSA-specific drill script in scripts/remarkable/generate-rhcsa-drills.py

  • Add RHEL-specific entries to partials/reference/terminal-power-user/ partials
